Filming this show is my opportunity to push myself and my gear to new limits, as following around the Dockmen from Waters Edge Dock and Hoist, often involves harsh weather conditions. Led by Jerry Wilson and Garrick Wilson, each Dockmen in their own right- the series follows two brothers as they navigate the marine industry, tackling high stakes dock installations, situations and familial tensions. Viewers are treated to a front-row seat as the Dockmen think on their feet and overcome obstacles, all while striving to provide access to water for everyone. With its immersive portrayal of lake life and the hard labor involved in dock work, “The Dockman” promises an engaging and eye-opening experience for reality TV enthusiasts. In season one of The Dockman, we dockument (if you will) workers in the marine industry. Featuring job sites from all over the state of Michigan, this has been about a two year filming period to create seven episodes and produce season one on The Dockman.
