In the beginning I had no idea what a “dockman” did or what he was about. I didn’t know what a barge was. It’s been great pioneering the dock & boat hoist industry creating amazing content with Waters Edge. This video marks the first videos produced with brothers Jerry, and Garrick.
In this video we dive into the history of Waters Edge as a company and how they’ve grown into the lakefront solution that they are today. It started with hands on experience, and making whatever they had work. We discussed the tools and skills needed to work in the dock & hoist industry. I remember Garrick being super nervous for the interview. The b-roll used from this shoot is still in circulation today. Speaking of the b-roll, I knew there guys were hardcore, and I kinda knew we were going to get up super early to launch a barge and be on the lake. And that’s what I did the first morning at the boat launch with Nate and Garrick. Later we’d met up with the rest of the crew and film more removals.
